Medical Education is at the core of everything Dr Nijjer does. Passing on the latest medical research onto other medical professionals helps advance care and treatment for our patients.
Dr Nijjer, Consultant Cardiologist, has placed huge importance on medical education. As the President of Cardiology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, Dr Nijjer is responsible for delivering training to Cardiology trainees across London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Dr Nijjer is a frequent speaker at major medical conferences, helping to train other Cardiologists.
He is also part of Simple Education and Rutherford Medicine which has delivered medical training to Doctors all over the world through an innovative online platform.
All of this is essential to help as many patients as possible. By advancing the knowledge of Doctors globally, Dr Nijjer hopes to maximise the number of patients he can help.
Coronary Physiology
Dr Nijjer is an international expert in Coronary Physiology and has conducted clinical research and major trials which have changed the way Cardiology is practiced around the world. Royal Society of Medicine
As the President of the Cardiology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, Dr Nijjer leads an esteemed Council of Consultant Cardiologists and is responsible for delivering Cardiology training to Doctors throughout London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. All Cardiology Registrars (the medical grade below Consultant) must attend these special training days held throughout the year at the highly prestigious Royal Society of Medicine in Central London.
British Junior Cardiologists' Association
Dr Nijjer was the Chairman of Education for the revived BJCA and working with the committe, organised major educational events for Cardiologists in the UK. This included Cardiology to the Core meetings in 2015-2017. This meeting has continued to grow and has become an established part of the educational calendar.
Dr Nijjer has also provided online lectures for the BJCA through the innovative Cardiology Webinar programme launched by his colleagues in 2020.
